We congratulate Heiko Krause on his 1st place at the KSFE University Award at the 22nd Conference for SAS Users in Research and Development in Mannheim. The award-winning article "Evaluation of experimental proteomic data using the analysis software SAS" was written by Mr. Krause during a six-month internship at the ZIK plasmatis / INP.

At the second workshop of the Applied Plasma Medicine Center (APMC), a German-Korean project in plasma medicine, experts from INP and Kwangwoon University in Seoul came to a first conclusion of their cooperation.

In 2016, the Applied Plasma Medicine Center was founded in Seoul, a joint project of  the Leibniz Institute INP Greifswald and the Plasma Bioscience Research Institute of Kwangwoon University. Now, experts from both research locations are taking stock of their findings at an international workshop in Greifswald.

Congratulations to Katharina Witzke, winner of the Bob Barker Best Student Poster Award for her Poster "Plasma Medical Oncology: Long-Term Results with Focus on Immunity Research" presented at the 5th International Workshop on Plasma for Cancer Treatment. Monitoring in Thin Film Production

The INP will be represented at the workshop "Monitoring in Thin Film Production" with a lecture by Dr. Jens Harhausen on the topic "Prospects for the enhancement of PIAD processes by monitoring of optical thickness and plasma parameters". The international workshop is organized by PhotonicNet GmbH.

South Korean TV crew shoots at the INP

On February 8, a South Korean TV crew from SBS (Seoul Broadcasting Station) visited the INP. The Crew from South Korea produces a report about the various applications of plasma research, especially in the field of plasma medicine.
