Cost-effective manufacturing processes

New plasma processes are being developed for the generation of ceramic thin films based on complex metal oxides, e.g. perovskites, and electrodes based on metal-carbon or ceramic-carbon nanohybrids. Plasma-assisted processes have the potential to overcome challenges in realisation of cost and time efficiency, material flexibility, scalability to high-throughput processes. They are increasingly seen as a key technology fordevelopment of new materials for energy technologies, enabling  technology transfer to the market.

Our research and development of synthesis of materialsare in close collaboration with the Hydrogen and Fuel cell Center (ZBT) in Duisburg.
