Nanoworkshop
The German-Czech Workshop on Nanomaterials is a traditional event organized with an ambition to promote and strengthen the mutual cooperation between the Czech and German research teams working in the fields related to the cluster and nanoparticle growth, development of aggregation sources and related sputtering processes, and characterization & applications of nanomaterials. Previous editions took place in Sankt Peter-Ording (2012), Prague (2014), Lübeck (2016), České Budějovice (2018) and Dresden (virtual meeting in 2020) and Prague (2024).
The 7th edition will be hosted in Greifswald, Germany, June 4th and June 5th 2026 by the Leibniz-Institute for Plasma Science and Technology (INP). The two-day workshop will keep on with the comfortable format of previous editions, with a limited number of talks, no parallel sessions, and plenty of time for stimulating discussions and possible networking in a friendly atmosphere.

The attendance fee for the workshop will be 110€, covering the scientific programme, lunch and coffee during the two-day workshop.

Greifswald is located ~230 km in the north of Berlin and ~270 km in the east of Hamburg. There are direct bus connections between Greifswald and Prague (once per day, 8:20h), and direct trains between Berlin and Greifswald (roughly every hour, 2:45h).
The picturesque town of Greifswald is very popular and touristic during the summer season. Therefore, we recommend to book accommodation early.
