AMRO
As part of the AMRO project, a modular, customizable orthosis for rhizarthrosis is being developed using 3D printing. The goal is to create an ergonomic, cost-effective, and clinically versatile treatment solution designed to provide targeted relief for the thumb saddle joint. In parallel, the Leibniz Institute for Plasma Research is investigating the effects of cold plasma treatment on 3D-printed materials to assess aging, skin compatibility, and potential microbiological risks.
