In the following, we present some of our most important large projects.

WIR!-Projects

The INP has created two concepts for corresponding implementation projects with its partners as part of the WIR! tender. The concept CAMPFIRE (FKZ 03 WIR 2301 A) was developed together with the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund and the Institute for Climate Protection, Energy and Mobility. The Physics for Food concept (FKZ 03 WIR 2801 B) was conceived jointly with Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences.

Physics for Food

With the project "Physics for Food" the structural change in the northeastern coastal outback region, which is characterized by traditional, long established agriculture and food industry, is shaped by means of innovative physical high technology.

CAMPFIRE

The CAMPFIRE alliance in the North-East region is pursuing the development of a new field of innovation for the decentralized production of ammonia from renewable energies and its utilization as an innovative energy source for emission-free maritime mobility.

biogeniV

The biogeniV alliance, funded by the BMBF as part of the "Change through Innovation in the Region"(WIR!) program, couples the use of renewable energy with the bioeconomy, paving the way for a climate-neutral future.

EU-Projects

Within the Hydrogen Research Factory MV, INP develops plasma-based processes for the production of low-emission hydrogen. The focus is on the plasmolysis of methane and biomethane, which requires less electrical energy than water electrolysis. Together with partners from the Leibniz and Fraunhofer communities, new technologies for the energy transition are being developed and prepared for practical application.

Forschungsfabrik

The PtX Plasma Development Center as part of the “Forschungsfabrik Wasserstoff MV” is developing Plasmalyse, an efficient method for producing low-emission hydrogen. The aim is to support the energy transition.

HiPowAR

The project partners are developing a new membrane reactor for efficient energy production from ammonia. The project focuses on a breakthrough in the direct conversion of ammonia into energy.
