Using gastrointestinal tumours as an example, the possibility of combining pulsed electric fields with cold physical plasmas will be investigated. The aim is to identify the best combinations of parameters that together cause tumour cell death. The principle will be combined in in ovo and in vivo models. As a scientific preliminary project (WiVoPro), the project will provide the basis for bilateral follow-up projects to make the approach clinically usable in the future.
