PlasmACT

PlasmACT is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie doctoral network coordinated by the INP with the aim of researching the potential of plasma medicine for treating actinic keratoses. Actinic keratoses are precursors to invasive skin cancer, affecting on average one in two people in Europe over the age of 80, and are considered the most common cancer in humans. The pan-European project is being carried out in collaboration with 10 industry partners and 4 other academic partners from Antwerp (PLASMANT, CORE; Belgium), Rostock (Skin Clinic; Germany), Eindhoven (Applied Physics; Netherlands) and Orleans (GREMI; France). The spokesperson for the network is Prof. Dr. Sander Bekeschus.
