Early diagnosis of inflammatory changes in the sole of the foot

Research and development of an early warning and monitoring system for diabetic foot syndrome (DFS) and its implementation in a telemedical diabetes care network
In order to prevent the development of chronic foot wounds, we are pursuing a preventive approach with a pilot study in which sensor-based shoe insoles are being tested together with neuropathic diabetes patients. In our study, an insole pattern capable of high-resolution long-term monitoring of the sole temperature is being tested for functionality and handling.
