In 2016, the Applied Plasma Medicine Center was founded in Seoul, a joint project of the Leibniz Institute INP and the Plasma Bioscience Research Institute of Kwangwoon University. Now, experts from both research locations are taking stock of their findings at an international workshop in Greifswald.
September 23 - 26, 2018 We were able to welcome about 50 participants from nine countries to the 7th Young Professionals Workshop on Plasma Medicine, focusing on "Frontiers in Redox Biochemistry and Medicine" in Rostock. The workshop provided promising results and interesting contacts. We are looking forward to the next year!

We congratulate Heiko Krause on his 1st place at the KSFE University Award at the 22nd Conference for SAS Users in Research and Development in Mannheim. The award-winning article "Evaluation of experimental proteomic data using the analysis software SAS" was written by Mr. Krause during a six-month internship at the ZIK plasmatis / INP.
The article "Surface modification of the laser sintering standard powder polyamide 12 by plasma treatments" by the team of the University of Sheffield & Dr. Schäfer & Dr. Gerling appears on the cover of the current issue of Plasma Processes and Polymers.
